We actually got some winter here in Missouri this past weekend. Generally, a good quarter of the state received around a foot of snowfall. A rare snowfall that allowed me to even get out and snowshoe! Although just south of us received a dusting, it was still a nice addition that added life to the forest and spruced up the riverbanks. The temps were perfect hovering around 32ºF, making for a comfortable trek. The sky was overcast throughout the day and was the perfect filter for some water photography. Just before sunset, the clouds must have been just thin enough for a subtle bit of color to pop into the sky. It was a nice day to get out and get some peace and quiet.
Enjoy!
